"Praise the Lord; praise God our Savior! For each day He carries us in His arms. Our God is a God who saves! The Sovereign Lord rescues us from death." Psalm 68:19, 20 NLT
This passage is a great reminder and encouragement of God's love and care for us. The last part of the passage is one of eternal hope. Those that know Jesus as their Lord and Savior have the promise of eternal life. When our last breath is expelled, we enter into eternity with Christ.
But Jesus is not just our Savior in the sense of giving us eternal life. He is our Savior right now. In a very real sense we have entered into eternal life now. He promises to carry us in His arms today! Every single day Jesus is caring for us. Nothing will come our way that He cannot raise us above or carry us through. Now that is a reason to praise the Lord!
What are you carrying that is weighing you down? Don't just give the problem to Jesus. Give yourself to Him.
